In the song she talks about brushing her teeth with a bottle of Jack and not having a care in the world but having plenty of beer. Couple this with the fact that she usually looks like she spent the night passed out on the floor of a public bathroom, then throw in the bonus truth that most of her fans are probably kids, and you see why she finds herself on the defensive.

So, apparently she told Britain's Daily Mirror she's just having a good time, and if it's good enough for Diamond Dave, it's good enough for her.

She says, "You'd have to have no pulse not to come to my show and not have fun. David Lee Roth could be a total bada** running around, drinking whiskey and jumping into the crowd. I see no reason why a woman can't do that.

"A woman who is hot, has a good time and drinks is often seen as a whore or an alcoholic. But I'm neither of the two."

Note to Ke$ha:

OK, Sugarplum. I think you're sort of missing the mark here. What you don't get is that we all assumed Dave was indeed both of those things. The difference? He didn't get uppity about it.

Now, since you made the comparison. Let's watch both of you. Let's be clear. I like you. I think you're simultaneously terrible and awesome. But you are no David Lee Roth. Now, let us never speak of this again.
