I have so many questions about this picture which was taken at the ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) Awards this week.

Adam Lambert and Kesha

Among them:

1. What did Adam Lambert do to his face?

2. Is that real hair or did he glue it on?

3. And is the hair on his head made of plastic?

4. What the hell is Ke$ha laughing at?

5. Is it Adam Lambert's facial hair?

6. How much boob tape does she have holding that dress up?

7. Will she still be laughing after he demands the rent then ties her to the railroad tracks?

8. But most importantly, will you caption this picture for me? Pretty please? I know you can write something witty and brilliant. Then I will choose a winner and post that winner's name on the blog for all to see on Monday, May 2. And you'll be a winner, just like Charlie Sheen. Because isn't that what we all want? There is no actual physical prize. But you can bask in the satisfaction of a job well done.

Post your caption in the comments section. Get to it! Or I'll tie you to the railroad tracks.

Getty Lady Gaga's television premiere of her new single Judas - taped on Tuesday - aired today on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Before the performance, she talked again about feeling like a loser, discussed what she wears to sleep and confirmed that she'd the Godmother of Elton John and David Furnish's little boy.

Then she changed out of her floppy hat and Sheena Warrier Princess dress into a latex getup with bell bottoms that make her legs look about four inches long. I swear. I don't GET Gaga. I appreciate her. I love the incongruity of the ABBA-like Euro-pop music and the art-trash persona. But I can't for the life of me understand why someone would go to SO MUCH EFFORT - because clearly she puts a LOT of thought, time and work into her appearance. She puts more thought into one day of her outfits than I put into the entire year - to look so consistently terrible.

It baffles me. Anyhoodle, those are really bad pants, here's Judas.

Justinbieberdentalcare

Adding to the increasingly abundant pile of available Justin Bieber merch (which already includes nail polish and bedding) this week is the Justin Bieber toothbrush. Available from Brush Buddies, this oral hygiene tool plays 2, count 'em 2, Justin Bieber songs while your kid brushes her/(his?) pearly whites.

According to the Brush Buddies website, it boasts:
*Soft DuPont bristles, ergonomic design cleans plaque in hard to reach places.
*Soft rubber coating to give you a comfortable brushing experience
*Replaceable brush head, dentists recommend you replace your brush head every 3 months.
*2 buttons – 1 button when you wake up in the morning and one before you goto bed. Each button will play a Justin Bieber’s song for 2 minutes which is the dentist recommend time to brush your teeth. Now you can enjoy brushing your teeth while you listen to Justin’s best songs
*Battery is replaceable and included!

There's also a product line which includes Justin Bieber dental floss – that, as far as I understand it, doesn't play any tunes – and an adult Bieber brush. That doesn't play any music either and will likely only be bought by a) people who are very strange b) hipsters as "ironic" gifts for their hipster friends (which is not actually ironic since it's exactly what hipsters are expected to do).

It’s been 20 years (!) since 1991’s groundbreaking Blood Sugar Sex Magik disc put funk-rock brawlers the Red Hot Chili Peppers on the mainstream map and the band is still motoring: drummer and Chickenfoot alum Chad Smith confirms a new Chilis record will drop this summer.

He’s been celebrated, imitated and hotly debated. And now legendary rocker David Bowie is about to be curated (sorry for the appalling rhyme but I just couldn’t help myself).

NME reports that a new exhibition based around the legendary Thin White Duke is set to open in New York at the Museum of Arts and Design.

If further proof were needed that India is fast-emerging as a global superpower, it appears to be in. On the heels of a Bollywood-style version of "Born This Way" from Lady Gaga comes the desi remix of Britney Spears’s track “Till the World Ends” by Canadian-Punjabi band Culture Shock.

Grace Potter and The Nocturnals
Beyonce might be getting sued for a hundred million dollars for allegedly ruining Christmas and driving 70 people into unemployment (a claim I have no trouble believing even though I suspect it's actually not true - how's that for making no sense? - because for reasons I don't even understand myself, I just think Beyonce seems like a major pill) but Grace Potter still loves her.

"Beyoncé is becoming my hero," said Grace after leading her band, the Nocturnals, through a rootsy acoustic rendition of Why Don't You Love Me on Billboard's Mashup Monday. "We just brought our soul game into the picture."

Here are both renditions.

U2 drummer Larry Mullen Jr. is swapping sticks for scripts - at least temporarily. The dashing 49-year-old skinsman will make his first foray into acting in the film, Man on the Train, an Irish-Canadian movie also starring Donald Sutherland and receiving its debut at the Cannes Film Festival next month.

In the crime drama, according to the BBC, Mullen play a mysterious stranger who arrives in a small town with plans to rob a bank. He is also one of the film's co-producers and composed its score alongside musician Simon Climie; Mary McGuckian directs.

Canuck pop-rock dandies Sloan are taking the old “it’s wise to tour behind a new record” adage very much to heart; they’ve announced extensive live dates on the heels of their newest and 10th (!) studio record, The Double Cross, which drops May 10.

Moby fans rejoice! Our man has risen, and there is much exciting news in the world of the diminutive, staunchly vegan electronica musician/DJ.

A new album, Destroyed, is set to drop next month. The first video from the disc, for a song called “The Day” - featuring fetching actress Heather Graham as a weirdly serene, demon-slaying guardian angel - has emerged on YouTube (see below).
