Though it didn’t seem like there was much else going on in the world amid the Royal hoopla, there was! Here’s what you need to know.

HOT TV – The Voice Debuts BIG
Despite Christina Aguilera’s...well, Christina Aguilera, the show was the highest rated of the night and very favourably reviewed. However, explaining the concept shouldn't take 20 minutes. I was a bit confused. Things I noticed – Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera's hatred of each other. Am I wrong? They're gonna fight. Also, they ALWAYS commented on the way the contestant looked – isn’t the show supposed to NOT be about looks? I think it will get more interesting as they all get more comfortable letting their diva out.

HOT TEASER – Lada Gaga Documentary
This is too much for me. Why is she crying? I don’t get it. :(

HOT NEWS – Donnie Wahlberg Twitter-God
Looks like New Kids on the Block are doing more than combining a bunch of letters together with other boy bands. Member Donnie Wahlberg saved someone’s life this week via Twitter! He retweeted a fan’s link who was in desperate need of a kidney, which then caught the attention of Vanderbilt University, who then found a donor for Bobbette Miller! Yay!
