What’s being reported as an all-star triple album for charity and featuring a grocery list of American musicians - Eddie Vedder, Stone Gossard and Mike McCready of Pearl Jam, The Strokes, James Mercer of The Shins, Wilco, Corin Tucker of Sleater-Kinney, Chris Funk and John Moen of The Decemberists, The Dandy Warhols, Spoon, Ryan Adams, John Doe of X and Joshua Homme of Queens of the Stone Age and Them Crooked Vultures among them – is set for release July 16.

Live From Nowhere Near You Vol 2 apparently pairs street musicians with indie rock stars, to raise money and awareness for the homeless; Vol 1was released in 2003.

According to Undercover, the album features over 210 minutes of music, and those buying the full set get even more bonus tracks to download.  The set will be issued for $15 through Greyday Records in Portland, OR and 100 percent of its profits support non-profit Outside In, which aids homeless youth.
