Good lord. Scary stuff.

Meat Loaf reportedly collapsed on stage on Thursday at Pittsburgh's Trib Amphitheatre. Rolling Stone reports that the 63-year-old classic rock(opera)er suffered an asthma attack on stage and fainted, then stayed down for about ten minutes, scaring the bejesus out of hundreds of concertgoers.

Mr. Loaf, 63, had reportedly just finished singing the 1992 power ballad I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That) when he collapsed. Video below shows crew coming to his aid.

In true The Show Must Go On fashion, Loaf recovered and continued to rock. RS says he explained:

"I f****** fainted. I have asthma ... I can't breathe ... and then ... oh wait, I forgot ... I got poked by a pin and bled half to death ... and then I got slapped in the face and my tooth is loose."

He then performed Paradise by the Dashboard Light.

Oh, Meat Loaf. I love you. I'm so glad you're OK! Don't ever change.

Loaf is reportedly recording an album called Hell In a Hand Basket.

Thank God he is alright! He's my most favourite power singer! He once did a ballad sans mike at Massey Hall in Toronto... that was a moment I'll always treasure, to hear that voice in pure form.

Absolutely one of the best there ever was. Give em Hell Meat....we love ya!

I bet that is exactly the way he would want "to go" finish a power ballad and "fade to black"

now that is someone who gets the job done -saw him at casino rama -he seemed pissed the crowd didnt seem more into it

Just an incredible entertainer, the people that entertain with him are incredible too ! I wish him and all entertainers the best !

Seen him a couple of years ago in ottawa really grest show. The lady who sang was really hot its a wonder meatloaf never had an attack back then , maybe he did seems to sit down alot. Maybe he was excited to be singing with her.

And he looks to be in so much better health than he was in the 70's!

Get well soon! Icons like him are hard to come by! He is truly one of a kind.

His name was Robert Paulson.............his name was Robert Paulson..

actually his name is actually Marven Lee Aday

Thank God he's OK! He's the best! Take care Meat!!!
