A Swedish woman who claims to be Elvis Presley’s “real daughter” is suing the King of Rock and Roll’s estate for $130 million.
I learned from The Hollywood Reporter that Lisa Johansen has been claiming for more than 20 years that she’s Elvis’ real kid and that Lisa Marie is an impostor (!).
In the book, Johansen claims that, after Elvis died in 1977, Priscilla Presley left America fearing for her daughter's safety and she was forced to assume a new identity. The Amazon description reads:
"Dazed by grief over the sudden death of her famous father, the young girl is whisked from her life in America to the obscurity of a comfortable exile in Scandinavia. It is for her own safety that she must assume a new identity until she comes of age to take her rightful place as the sole heir of a huge estate. I, Lisa Marie is the intimate and personal account of a young woman's quest to reclaim her name and heritage, while being blocked at every turn...The real Lisa Marie wants only a simple outcome, and the chance to introduce herself and her children to what is left of the circle of friends and family and the millions of devoted Elvis Presley Fans."
She, of course, claims to be the rightful heir to the Presley estate. But she reportedly wouldn’t take a DNA test at the time.
She faded into obscurity after the initial press attention, though THR says she showed up at Graceland on the anniversary of Elvis’ death this year and talked with some of the staff, leading the Presley family lawyer to send a letter threatening legal action.
So Johansen is retaliating with her own suit, claiming she was invited to Graceland and that the Presley family has been spreading lies and trying to intimidate her.
Interestingly, THR says she the filed papers claim she submitted to a DNA test in 2010.
So....I have no idea what to make of that.

Biggest problem with her story, though - The Lisa Marie we all know actually LOOKS like Elvis
It would make more sense if she just said she was the illigitimate child of Elvis fathered on one of his many world tours. We cannot dispute the fact that the Lisa Marie we all know is Elvis' daughter. She couldn't look more like him if she was him.
exactly Jasminda...if the Lisa Marie we all know didn't look like him then maybe u'd wonder but she's almost like the splitting image of Elvis, there's no way u could claim she's an imposter & not his real daughter. This woman obv. needs help & she should go get it, lol
"Elvis"??? How far back are we going...When are people going to let this person go...I had to google him to know which Elvis they were talking about...wasn't it like 70 years ago or something...Glenn Miller was somebody once but it was in another century...I googled my grand-dad for that info.

I read the book and the photos of Lisa Johanson look identical to Elvis as a young boy. They did skull analysis and especially a forehead analysis which proved that Lisa Johanson was the real daughter, but Priscilla and Elvis had received kidnap threats for a long while and after Elvis died, Priscilla brought her to Sweden and left her with Elvis' distant relatives. Where she acquired the now-known-as Lisa Marie Presley is beyond me. The Lisa Marie we all know has a small forehead and as we age, our features do not grow smaller. I believe Lisa Johanson has a case.

I believe her, I dont know why, but her story seems true. Yes, the lisa marie sad to be elvis daugher looks ery like him, but that is not proof enough, maybe thats why she was chosen, because of her remarkable resemblence. So lets see,if they allows her a dna test without trying to stop it, I believe things will turn out in her favour.I hope that the truth will be revealed and justice will happend, and the true face of pricsilla will be exposed for the world. Lisa Marie looks like Elvis, as a woman. The only possible explanation would be that he had sex with a random groupie and this woman was born, not that she's the "real Lisa Marie" because that's crazy I want money talkin' there.
Sharon, I will say this once only - when a person refers to "Elvis" there is only ONE Elvis they are referring to and that is 'The King'.
All other Elvis need to have their surname stated .. such as Elvis Costello or Elvis Whatsi'sface (the Cdn. skater from Richmond Hill). There is only one REAL Elvis! So don't step on my blue suede shoes, kid! Or I'll get my houn'dog after you.
11 details on the head don't match with Elvis' face. Sorry swedish dame. Watch out for security cameras next time. I went down to Graceland & saw all the cameras around everywhere. I was dressed in all black like the man in the house himself. All the staff & security was stunned what I looked like when I went down to the house of Elvis. I wanted to find out the phrase why hide it show it. Alot of people was looking at me like a mirror image of the man. I am on all the cameras in the house, exhibits, diner, novalty stores, everywhere.
