Celine Dion 2
Ha! Oops.

It seems Celine Dion had a wee wardrobe issue in Jamaica on Friday. I hate that.

Nothing fell or ripped. It was more of a case of not thinking things through.

According to the SF Gate, the Canadian superstar was performing at the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival in Trelawny, in a really short dress. Well, it's normally OK to wear a shorter skirt when you're at eye level with other people - and a totally different thing when everyone is looking up at you.

Celine reportedly realized what was happening and changed into leggings mid show.

I love that she handled the incident with her usual humour. She says in the below video,“The short gold dress was Balmain… Was that short enough? Because normally when people are level [with the stage] the length is fine. But people were like this [looks up]… So it was like I didn’t think of the people downstairs and me there.”

With all her stage experience, she didn't know? Incredible!

does she need a new "wardrobe" person?

good reply to the press celine !people will realize you are a real person !

very funny. Love her.

I can imagine seeing Celine Dion's underwear might be pretty scary, but it could have been worse...she might not have been wearing any. Yikes!

who would want to look up that dress? those poor people int he front row! #ahmyeyes!

Ben voyons donc. Big deal.
Free show

It's a big deal for some and trivial stuff for fans in Jamaica. FACT: Jamaicans love Celine and appreciates the excellent performance last Friday night. More interest in her next appearance in Jamaica. Hundreds of fans did not get inside the facility. Local media never mentioned this - sure people were gazing more at her face in awe than anywhere else. Tropical country where people show lot of skin and I imagine Celine wore knickers. Please focus on the performance and she was brilliant. Yes, just let short dress issue die naturally. Celine's performance made Canadians here in Jamaica extremely proud - not to mention her local fans!

As long as she was wearing underwear, it wouldn't be the worst thing on the stage lol. But she showed class in changing when she realized what exactly the "show" was.

Wish I would been there so she take my picture! :)

I wish I would have had a front row seat.

And she thinks we buy that she hadn't thought of the people that would be looking up? Get off it Celine, how long have you been working on stage?

Give me a break ... doesn't she wear panties??
Oh well, I guess she needed some excitement!!!

When I first clicked on the blog I thought it was going to be the boobs and not the dress length. I was laughing to myself because I thought it was because she is constantly hitting (hard) her heart when she sings (lol). But at least she handled it with class. But yes, what's with the stylist? after all this time - that's a big faux pas.

Oh the drama! Yawn! Next story please.

Did the people who actually got a glimpse request a refund?

Were there paramedics on-site to offer treatment for the trauma they sustained?

would loved to have been there to see her loveliness...mmm. ;)

Not too bright! Never was, never will be.

I'm totally into the flashing thing Celine... wow sorry I missed it!

it take common sense to wear clothing longer than a teenie bobber, at your age, doesn't matter who you are in this world, have respect for yourself and dress accordingly

Well hallo, I think by replying the way she did, shows us, she wasn't in denial, or lawsuing someone for this mistake!! She simple went ooops!! and not making a big deal of it! She is beautiful inside out. I think is is bery cute by been just like that!! Oh well, ooops!!!!

oooooops!!! *Imenat very, not bery!!! ooooops!!!!! little mistakes!!!

Her husband/father/teenage lover will be very upset. Hope she wasn't commando!!
I am sure all of the wardrobe staff will be fired.

I love that she can just laugh this off as the "small" deal it really is.

She can deny all she wants but come on, a performer with her experience and multitude of assistants "didn't think . . . ." I'm not buying it, sorry.
