The funeral of R&B legend Etta James was held yesterday in the City of Refuge Church in Gardena, California. The Wall Street Journal reports that the event featured performances by Stevie Wonder and Christina Aguilera.
Aguilera, who paid tribute by singing James' signature ballad, "At Last," said, “There’s a line in this song that says ‘I found a dream that I could speak to. And for me that dream, all my life, has been Etta James.”

That was simply amazing. She has such awesome range and vocal power. I love her. And that was such a touching tribute to Etta. Beautiful.
This video sent chills up my spine. I too loved Etta James and especially this epic song of hers. To hear Christina, who is undoubtedly one of the best singers of our time was so fitting and....well WOW.
that was awful...and what kind of outfit is that to wear to a funeral with her cleavage bulging out like that...sorry Christina, but this was not about you girl, it was about miss etta...
I love Christina's voice and have always thought she is a great singer but somehow hearing her sing at this funeral of a great singer from the past made me feel uncomfortable. Christina did a nice job of the song but I still think Etta's voice should have been heard throughout her service.
overkill.....Etta was classy......this is horrendous,,,,sadly the pitch was all over the place making this song totally not sound like the real *At last*...wth...
shoulda got someone classier and more humble like Nora Jones to honor MS Etta..... enough of this vocal acrobatics,,,,

terrible outfit for a funeral with her boobs hanging out. Disgusting. And she screams way too much... sorry but Beyonce sings it much better...
