Look! It's behind the scenes video of Madonna and M.I.A. a New York studio last November with producer Martin Solveig. The rapper appears in Madge's upcoming album, along, MDNA, with Nicki Minaj. And the two younger stars are widely expected to be joining the elder pop star on stage at the upcoming Super Bowl halftime show. Look how they frolic! Just like BFFS! Stay relevant Madge! Enjoy...
OK, I’m officially sick of Lana Del Rey. GAWD. Its probably not even her fault, but has anyone ever been more overexposed before even releasing an album?
Oh, wait! That’s not actually the case. It seems the hipster phenom released an album in 2010 on the indie Five Point Records, which was available on iTunes for about two months before it was pulled.
Adam Lambert will debut the full video for his new single “Better Than I Know Myself” on Monday but good news Glambert fans who can barely contain yourself! He's released a Behind the Scenes to tie you over until then.
Below is the sneak peak. The album Trespassing, drops in March.
I think there are probably more adult people in love with Joseph Gordon Levitt than anyone else in the Western world right now. I have one friend who even wrote a song about it (well, more of a jingle, really).
So, those people will be thrilled to see the heartthrob du jour rolling up his sleeves and covering the Beatles. Here's JGordLev (damn, still working on that cutesypoo nickname) playing and singing "Hey Jude" at Sundance.
This is getting ridiculous. Well, it was already. Cher is the latest celebrity to be subject to a death hoax.
The Twittershpere was all abuzz last night and this morning with the "news" that the singer and actress had died. According to Starpulse, it started with “@Lorraine_Star,” who faked a retweet from CNN reading, “RT @CNN: American recording artist Cher dies at 65 years old. Found dead in Malibu home.”
People bought it, including miss Kim Kardashian who posted “Did I just hear Cher has passed away? Is this real? OMG...I hope this is a twitter joke and not true. I don’t see it on the news anywhere. I’m praying its not true…”
Gossipcop.com reports that the the "Turn Back Time" singer is alive and well. Phew. And her friend Loree Rodkin set the record straight tweeting, “It’s a hoax. She’s fine.” (via Rumorfix.com)
Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Paul McCartney and Jon Bon Jovi are among the many many many stars who have had bogus news of their demise spread across the web.
Michael Jackson was immortalized in cement last night (Thursday) outside Grauman's Chinese Theatre.
Reuters reports that MJ's three children, Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket, stamped their father's glove and shoe prints into the concrete courtyard at a ceremony attended by over a hundred fans and celebrities, including MJ's family members, Quincy Jones and Justin Bieber.
So, Madame Tussauds at the Venetian Resort & Casino in Las Vegas has unveiled a new Justin Bieber wax figure and well, is it me or does that look just like this other Justin Bieber wax figure, which in turn doesn't look very much like Justin Bieber? Wow, these things are really hit and miss. Susan Boyle's figure is amazing, while people seem to agree that Fergie looks like Kirstie Alley. This one...I don't know. Though, as I've said before, I bet making wax figures is a really hard job, so we shouldn't pick too much on the people who do it.
As we hit the six-month anniversary of the death of Amy Winehouse, her dad Mitch is reportedly mad that Jean Paul Gaultier us exploiting the late singer's image for a fashion line.
Gaultier unveiled his Winehouse inspired line this week - beehives piled high, cigarettes and retro skirts and corsets - in a Paris catwalk show that featured a barbershop quartet singing Amy's hit "Rehab."
LMFAO and Cee Lo are rumoured to be joining Madonna at the Super Bowl XLVI halftime show on February 5.
There's already word circulating that M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj - who appear on the Material Girl's upcoming album - will be joining her on stage. Now, Black Eyed Pea Will.i.am, who appeared in last year's halftime show with Usher, Slash and his fellow peas, says party "rockers" (they're not really rockers, no matter what they tell you) LMFAO are also on the bill.
Speaking to Capital FM, (via THR) Will.i.am says, "I'm going to the Super Bowl this year to see my group LMFAO perform with Madonna." LMFAO is signed to Will.i.am Music Group through Cherrytree/Interscope.
He continued, "Check that out, Will.i.am Music Group is pretty freaking two for two…. One year the Super Bowl, the next year another group part of the Super Bowl in collaboration with Madonna. That's still happening."
Meanwhile, MTV is reporting that Cee Lo Green might also be joining the party. "Sources" supposedly say Madonna has asked the Voice judge to perform and says Cee Lo has been flying to New York to rehearse with her.
So, good times. If that's your idea of a good time. Is it?
Rihanna has gotten a new tattoo to go along with the grammatically incorrect "Rebelle Fleur" on her neck (there are actually a lot of others, I'm not sure how many). The pop star has inked her fingers in homage to late rapper Tupac Shakur, with the words "THUG LIFE" in pink ink. Thug Life was the name of Tupac's group, formed in 1993 (see their "Cradle to the Grave" below). He also had the saying tatted on his stomach.
