It's time to announce your caption contest winner for the week. Thanks for playing. Today's winner is...avt, whose caption is above. Congratulations avt. You don't win anything but the pride of this moment should be enough to carry you through the next hour or so.

It's time for another Caption This! Yay!
Your subjects, above, are Aerosmith rocker and American Idol judge Steven Tyler and 1980s television LEGEND - Dynasty's Krystle Carrington- Linda Evans. This is back in October. They have both released memoirs and are holding each other's.
Got a funny, clever, brilliant or existential caption for it? Write it in the comments section below. Fart jokes will not be published. We'll pick a winner and that winner will win the thrill and satisfaction of having their name and winning caption posted on this blog on Monday, January 16. Other than that, you get nothing. But what do you need another thing cluttering up your house for?
Do it for the GLORY! Now get to it!
A state lawmaker in Indiana is seeking to pass legislation that would make changing up the "Star Spangled Banner" punishable by a fine.
According to the Los Angeles Times, a bill by Indiana Sen. Vaneta Becker would impose a $25 fine on anyone who fails to follow set standards while performing the U.S. national anthem at events sponsored by public schools and universities.

Better known for his tear-away wife-beaters and thundering body slams, Hulk Hogan is also, apparently, a bit of a rock critic.
In this video interview (below) for Rolling Stone, the still-fit Hulkster offers his two cents on a series of great rock feuds, taking sides in the internal conflicts that have plagued Aerosmith, the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, and Guns ’N Roses. Never one to shy away from bold statements, Hogan doesn’t do much fence sitting here.
“Without Mick Jagger, you really wouldn’t get no satisfaction,” he says, dismissing Keith Richards.
Diminutive AC/DC guitarist Angus Young is the first of many legendary axemen – see also Jimmy Page, Joe Perry, Les Paul, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Phil Collen, Mick Mars, Scott Ian, Dave Navarro, Tom Morello, Gary Moore and Zakk Wylde – to salute Eddie Van Halen in a forthcoming coffee table book celebrating the Dutch-born fret master.
Young not only compares Van Halen to Jimi Hendrix but also downplays his own instrumental prowess. That’s a self-deprecating Aussie for you.

In a stunning and most welcome development, American Idol judge, memoirist and menswear huckster Steven Tyler may be resuming his former role as a proper rock star and – gasp! – a real musician by participating in a new Aerosmith recording, the group’s first batch of original material since 2001’s much-loathed (by them, and rightly so) Just Push Play.
You may not know his name, but if you are a rock fan, you almost certainly know photographer Bob Gruen’s outstanding work shooting classic rock and punk icons including (but not limited to) 70s-era Led Zeppelin, John Lennon, KISS, New York Dolls and Aerosmith, plus Blondie, the Ramones, the Sex Pistols, the Clash, Green Day, Bob Marley, Tina Turner, Alice Cooper, Joan Jett, the New York Dolls and countless others.
He’s already well on his way to becoming a one-man media empire, with resume highlights including but not limited to gazillionaire rock star, taste-making American Idol judge, published author, hero to millions and mouthpiece extraordinaire.
Now Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler is set to add “fashion plate” (or “perennial fashion risk,” depending on your POV) to his CV.
