Madonna has debuted a video ad for her new fragrance Truth or Dare.
It was announced a few months ago that she'd be launching her first scent after over thirty years in the business and that said scent is inspired by Madonna's mother, who died of breast cancer in 1963.
The ad features the new single "Girl Gone Wild" and is similar to the black and white video for the track, which in turn hearkens back to the "Erotica"/"Justify My Love" days of the 1990s.
This will come as absolutely no surprise to anyone who has read it. Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards’ rollicking, unvarnished, hilarious memoir Life is officially one of the most popular rock autobiographies ever written, having sold over one million copies.
They’ve already released an official coffin, shameless merchandising whores that they are, so should we really be surprised that KISS has now added an official KISS urn to the lineup of products available for suckers fans with a fluid sense of taste and cash to spare?
Actually, yes... yes we are surprised. But only a smidge given the above-mentioned casket plus action figures, throw rugs, beach blankets, Visa cards, pinball machine, glassware, lithographs, baseball caps, outerwear, calendars, T-shirts and assorted other items the profit-positive members of KISS have gladly slapped their logo on over the years. The urn, pictured below in all its cheesy glory, is just the latest in a never-ending series.

Harrods has created a sundae based on Justin Bieber's perfume.
The sundae was designed to coincide with the Brit department store's launch of the Bieb's debut fragrance, Someday. For some reason, they didn't just call it the Someday Sundae, which would have been perfectly fitting, but instead the "Bieber Bocker Glory." I was curious about what this meant, not knowing what a "bocker" is (I know what the other two words mean), so I Googled and found that a "bocker" is a dog breed that is a cross between a cocker spaniel and and a beagle. Huh. OK. The Urban Dicitonary, meanwhile, says it's a noun: "Someone or something that is especially cute or adorable. Usually used in reference to children or boyfriends." So, it's meant to be something cute. I still think the "Someday Sundae" would have been better.
Unless you’re a hardcore White Zombie fan, it might be classified more as a “library borrow” than an “Indigo buy.” But a new book by Sean Yseult, the self-proclaimed “chick bassist” with the now-defunct metal maulers, promises loads of trivia, tidbits and other stuff chronicling the group’s acclaimed 11-year run.
