Justin Bieber's New York concert at Madison Square Garden has sold out, in 30 SECONDS, according to reports. But that claim is rather misleading.
"The 18-year-old pop star, whose new album, Believe, is due out on June 19, sold out his entire U.S. and North American tour within one hour, according to his label, Island Def Jam...[and] tickets for Justin Bieber’s two Madison Square Garden shows (capacity: 20,000), scheduled for November 28 and 29, went in 30 seconds." That's what The Hollywood Reporter says.
The poor kid was knocked out cold after running into a wall of glass during a concert in Paris, according to TMZ.
We gossip news site says it spoke with Justin, who said he went backstage between songs during the peformance and hit the glass. He he was disoriented, but went back on stage and finished his set.
Later, as he walked to his dressing room he passed out cold for around 15 seconds. Doctors reportedly say Justin suffered a concussion but will be ok.
i will see u again Glass. I will have my revenge. BIEBER vs GLASS. MGM LAS VEGAS 2013. lol. #GottaLaughAtYourself
He's laughing, so I guess it's OK to point out that The Bieb doesn't have the best luck with glass. Here he is walking into a door in 2010. Watch where you're going kid.
The incident follows a melee in Oslo in which dozens of teenage Beliebers were injured trying to get at the Bieb.
According to TMZ the Norwegian city's mayor has launched an investigation into the incident, after 49 were injured and 14 were taken by ambulance for emergency care.
Justin Bieber caused some serious fandemonium in Oslo today and police nearly declared a state of emergency.
According to the National Post, The Bieb took to Twitter this afternoon (Wednesday) to announce that he would be putting on a free show at the Oslo Opera House at 9:20 local time. The surprise performance is part of his Around the World TV special.
Of course, eleventy bazillion (or somwhere thereabouts) Beliebers - apparently not just from Norway but from all over Europe - flocked to the venue in the hopes of seeing the concert.
Justin Bieber has released a new track, "Die In Your Arms," and it's already at the top of the iTunes chart. Of course.
Not to be confused with the Cutting Crew classic/one hit "(I Just Died) In Your Arms," it's less new wave/new romantic synth pop and more neo 1970s soul pop synth pop.
Incidentally, Nick Van Ede, who wrote the 1980s hit, said the lyrics "I just died in your arms tonight" originally came to him while he was having sex with his girlfriend.
The Bieb's lyrics go, “If I could just die in your arms / I wouldn’t mind / Cause everytime you touch me / I just die in your arms / Oh but it feels so right / So baby baby baby please don’t stop, girl.”
The Bieb has released a track singing the praises of his mom Pattie Mallette, just in time for Mother's Day.
Pattie birthed the teen sensation when she was just a teen herself and it's widely known that things weren't always easy.
The Bieb, 18, told MTV recently that the song, "Turn To You," is "about the struggles" his mom faced as a single parent. "She had me at, like, the age I am now," he said. "[It's about] just the struggles she went through and how brave she was, and I think the world needed to know that."
Proceeds from the sales of the song will be used to help other single moms.
Justin Bieber now has more time to get swaggy (still don't know what that means) and to sit by the fire and eat fondue now that he has graduated high school.
Yes! For real.
In an interview with Australia's Daily Telegraph, Justin made the big reveal (or, at least, it was news to enough outlets that it's now making the rounds as such) "I just finished high school," he said. "I passed my test - I'm free! It was hard doing school and work every day."
Justin Bieber threw a bit of his pop star weight around when he escorted welterweight champ Floyd Mayweather Jr. into the ring in Las Vegas last night (May 5), along with 50 Cent and WWE wrestler Triple H. Lil Wayne was also in the house.
Ryan Seacrest just celebrated getting over 100 million views on his YouTube channel. That's a lot if you're a normal person, and it's certainly more than you or I have -- well, I don't have a YouTube channel, but if I did, it wouldn't have 100 million views (also, unless you're a really famous person who just happens to be reading this and your channel does have 100 million views, in which case - Hi! Wanna read my screenplay?) -- but compared to, oh, say, Justin Bieber? It's chopped liver. Kid's stuff.
The Bieb's "Boyfriend" clip pretty much broke the internet after it was uploaded this week. At least, it broke Vevo's 24-hour watch record, according to a tweet from Vevo: “Final count coming in a couple of days, but it’ll well over 5 Million. #BoyfriendBrokeTheRecord. Already. @JustinBieber swag.” (via Idolator)
So, Seacrest enlisted The Bieb's help in pushing him past the 100 million mark. What did the Biebster suggest? Puppies, babies, a cover song and dance moves - all the things required to make a video a big hit. Watch below.
