Young cancer patients and staff at Seattle Children’s Hospital have a message: "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger."
In a video that has now gone viral - found via The Hollywood Reporter - the kids and staff lipsync to Kelly Clarkson's "Stonger," and hold up signs reading “Fighter,” “Hope” and “Stronger.”
“It made my day. I know it’s making everybody else’s day online.” Kelly said in a video message posted on her website. “I just can’t wait to meet you.”
The idea reportedly came from 22-year-old Chris Rumble, a patient at the hospital who was diagnosed with leukemia back in April and who wanted to do something to share with his old hockey team in Wenatchee, Washington.
Dr. Douglas Hawkins said these sorts of projects help keep the kids' spirits up.
See the video, the making of, and Kelly's message below.
Kelly Clarkson covered the Madonna classic "Crazy For You" in concert in Bossier City, Louisiana last week.
This was before she sang the National Anthem at the Super Bowl and Madge put on the half time show. She said she let two fans choose the track for her: "We've been doing this on tour, cause I got here from fans voting for me ten years ago so it's still cool that you all are involved in my show. This song was actually picked by a fan, two of them to be exact."
There are few stages that draw as many eyes (or ears) as the Super Bowl.
Needless to say, being tagged to belt out America's theme song before America's biggest television event of the year brings considerable pressure.
After Christina Aguilera flubbed the national anthem at last year's Super Bowl, all Kelly Clarkson had to do on Sunday evening was get the words right and she'd already be an improvement over the 2011 fiasco. Or "fail," as the Internet calls it.

Kelly Clarkson looked smashing in a Jessica Rabbit getup and gave a big band performance of her single "Mr. Know It All," which was preceded by a cute commentary on tabloid media with a voiceover questioning Kelly's sexuality and musing over her next album.
Another highlight was the finale, which featured LMFAO, Justin Bieber in yellow zebra-striped pants and David Hasselhoff in his underwear. Here's video of both performances, in case you missed it.
Kelly Clarkson has apparently decided she might as well leak her own music after 50 or so tracks made their way onto the internet without her knowledge not too long ago. So she posted the new single "What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)" on her Facebook page this evening.
"Hey ya'll," she writes. "I heard that some versions of "What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)" started showing up online. My new album Stronger is out in 3 weeks (Oct 24) and I want you to hear the real thing! Check it out!"

Below is her performance of the song "Mr. Know it All" - who, of course, is actually a Mr. Know Nothing. So the song is IRONIC. That's followed by a teaser for the video.
