Twenty-six year old Austin Brown is Michael and Janet Jackson's nephew and the son of Rebbie Jackson. And it shows, doesn't it?
The wanna be pop star performed at SXSW this week and in an interview with CNN discussed getting into the music industry. His parents apparently wanted to keep him away from showbiz but he says, “I just left home and did it... I always knew my love for music, I always knew it was something I was passionate about so, I kind of just told them I was going to do my own thing.”
Michael Jackson was immortalized in cement last night (Thursday) outside Grauman's Chinese Theatre.

With Robbie Burns day approaching on January 25 comes the news that Michael Jackson recorded an album based on the poems of Scottish Bard sometimes in or around the 1980s. Weird! But intriguing!
Conrad Murray was sentenced today (Tuesday) to four years in prison for the manslaughter death of Michael Jackson.
Murray was convicted three weeks ago, after prosecutors successfully argued that the physician's reckless use of the surgical anesthetic propofol to treat the pop star's insomnia led to Jackson's death.
Witnesses testified that Murray gave propofol nearly every night in the two months leading up to Jackon's death on June 25, 2009.
Jackson was preparing for his comeback concerts at London's O2 Arena.
Prosecutors asked for the maximum four years sentence and CNN reports that they got it.
CNN reports that a sentencing memo filed with the judge last week by prosecutors said Murray has "displayed a complete lack of remorse" and is "even worse, failing to accept even the slightest level of responsibility."
Jurors in the involuntary manslaughter trial of Michael Jackson's doctor have reached a verdict after nine hours of deliberations.
And he is guilty.
The verdict was announced at 4 p.m. EST. Each of the jurors was asked if this was their individual and personal verdict. Dr. Murray showed no reaction when the verdict was read.

Those who’ve heard the latest single by Chris Brown, “She Ain’t You,” likely immediately recognized that the backbone of the track is a sample from the Michael Jackson smash “Human Nature.” But Brown wasn’t the first R&B act to pay homage to the Gloved One by crooning over that Thriller cut. Gospel-turned-R&B trio SWV (Sisters with Voices) scored a 54-week charter in 1992 with “Right Here,” which also looped up the Quincey Jones production. (DJ Sidall even blended a cool little “Human Nature (Ultimix),” mashing together M.J.’s original with SWV, Chris Brown, and Nas, who jacked “Human Nature” for his 1994 gem “It Ain’t Hard to Tell.”)
While Brown dedicates his interpolation to M.J., he has now thrown a cool nod to ’90s nostalgia by recruiting the newly reunited SWV for the official remix to “She Ain’t You.”
A new SWV record, It’s About Time: All Over Again, is reportedly due this summer. The group has not released a studio album since 1997.
Barry Gibb has posted a 30-second clip of an unreleased collaboration with Michael Jackson online. The footage - apparently taken by Gibb’s daughter Ashley in December 2002 - shows Gibb and Jackson in the studio writing and recording the track “All In Your Name.”
